Adding personality to your look can sometimes look over-calculated, but Prada’s new ‘Lettering’ project cleverly allows customers to add their initials to a range of bags, giving a unique spin to a minimalist accessory. Owning a Prada bag in the first instance is an honour, but owning one personalised to you is what dreams are made of. Whether your personal style is a sporty backpack, a chic shopping tote or a globe-trotter luggage case (imagine the airport envy), customers can choose between 26 different styles.

The service is available from tomorrow (15th January) online at prada.com and in 12 key Prada stores worldwide: Milan, Rome, Paris, London, Monaco, New York, Tokyo, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Beijing and Hong Kong. However, always one step ahead of the fashion curve, A-list names including Kate Winslet, Claire Danes and Renée Zellweger have already been spied toting their own personalised bags. Having launched personalised sunglasses last month, Prada (who have never had a personalised product on the market before) are giving the personalisation service a big push. What will be next?
